Delving into the exciting arena of learning, the young learners of Modern Delhi Public School were introduced to the brown colour and oval shape in the online sessions. The enthusiastic children were on cloud nine to witness Browny the bear offering milk. On adding Bournvita to it, the inquisitive spirits watched it closely as it attained the rich brown hue. Further, Browny the Bear procured a brown magical pot from which brown objects such as coconut, sapodilla, potato, trees trunk, a brown monkey, walnut, almonds and groundnuts were taken out by the mentor. Turning into keen observers, the children observed their surroundings to identify the colour brown. They were made familiar with each object, identify its name and utility. The jubilant kids also prepared a brown bear sandwich with brown bread, chocolate spread /peanut butter, gems/chocos and banana slices. They were also taught to use apron and mat while eating and cooking. The oval shape was introduced to the little ones by showing the image of Humpty Dumpty. The diligent students were made to stretch a circular rubber band to form the oval shape. The children were shown different objects in both circular and oval shapes to help them differentiate between the two. They also enjoyed making varied shapes with play dough.
